Sea Snipers MW2 Midnight Release Event

So 7 of us went to our local Game Stops across the country to host the midnight release of MW2. It was fantastic! Here's the writeup and pics. Thanks to all the SS who participated in the event, it was a total success!

Good stuff!

Thanks to everyone who came out in Minneapolis. I met some people who were a real pleasure to have conversations and spend some time talking about the game/IW/Brady.

Thanks again
Wally

All of the gamers that showed up to my store in PA were great. I met lots of great people that night and everyone had a great time.

So i was talking to our editor from Brady Games and he wrote this...

"Hey Rich,

I heard a good story just a few minutes ago that I thought I’d pass along to you. Apparently, a little while ago, our sales folks sponsored a contest for some of our retail channels. Each month during the contest, the managers of individual stores that sold the most Brady guides would get $100 gift cards from us. So, one month, the winner was the manager of a GameStop store in Nevada. Our sales rep tried to send the gift card to the winning manager, but it got returned, so she emailed or phoned him (I’m not sure which). Long story short, the manager told our sales rep that the reason he won was thanks to the insane amount of MW2 guides he sold on game release night when one of the Sea Sniper was there. He was super stoked about how the whole event went—he sold through his entire stock of guides that night, which I think was somewhere around 193 copies. Anyway, you obviously already knew how well those Sea Snipers in-store events went, but I thought you’d enjoy hearing this story. Once again, great job!

—Tim"

That guy was [SS]Midnight. Great job buddy, you should get half of that gift card!
