WHAT IS S.E.A.L.? S.E.A.L. stands for Sea Snipers Evade and Assault League. S.E.A.L. was started in 2003 on the PS2 for SOCOM U.S. Navy SEALS. We ran 7 sucessful seasons before we officially made the move to Rainbow 6 Vegas and the 360. We are expanding the league up to 12 clans for our entry into the RB6:V world. Initially the S.E.A.L. was an underground league that was kept private, and was invitation only, however we have decided to make it public and accept applications from clans to be accepted into the league. The league will provide it’s members with a controlled environment to enjoy organized match play, and an alternative to currently available gaming ladders. LEAGUE FORMAT: SEASON 10 - ATTACK & DEFEND The league is a perpetual event consisting of multiple, consecutive seasons. It is a constantly evolving entity that could range from 6 clans to 12 and any number of divisions. Seasons will usually include at least a set of semi-final matches and a best of 3 final play of series. The league is a place where you can all relax and have fun without having to think about cheating and glitching. If those things occur, we deal with them asap and remedy the situation as fairly as possible. As a member of S.E.A.L., you and your clan will get to be involved in some decision making as well. You may be asked for your opinion on the format or awards, or disciplinary actions. Season 10 is Attack & Defend, but every season will be different. Stay tuned to see what’s next! MATCH FORMAT There will be only 1 division for this season. You will play each clan twice, once at home and once away. Each clan will get to pick a “home” map in a map draft process and each match will take place on only 1 map. You will play 5 rounds on each side of the map and count round wins and losses. Rounds wll be set to 5 minutes and 1 respawn. Restrictions will be the same (Tactical 500, XM’s, C4, and Incendiaries). There is a total of 10 points available for each match but remember, your points do not carry over into the playoffs. You play for seed until the playoffs begin, at which point your clan is then seeded to decide which team will play who, and who gets home field advantage. The top 4 teams will advance to the semi-finals. HOW TO JOIN You’ve never played anything like the S.E.A.L. before. If you and your clan think you’re ready for something new and different and want to compete with some of the best, click the “join” link and fill out the form to apply for entry. You and your clan will be contacted to participate in a scrimmage to test your skills and your personalities to see if you will be a good fit for the league. Clans are selected on several criteria, and you will be researched as part of the process. Please be available for scrimmages if you do decide to apply. All clans will get an email stating that we have received your application and that it is being processed. Not all clans that apply will get in. Please be sure to include a valid email address for us to contact you when you apply. PRIZES Awards and prizes will vary from season to season but will always include a virtual trophy (click on “trophy room” for examples), a variety of custom graphics for your site as well as your sigs and avatars. We do not offer any monetary prizes as we feel it promotes greed instead of camaraderie. We will also offer tons of S.E.A.L. More awards and prizes may become available in upcoming seasons, but the war is for the bragging rights to the league. Good luck!
