Favorite Games

So, I just finished playing through Uncharted Drake’s Fortune and I was highly impressed. As such, it got me thinking about some of my all time favorite games. In no particular order, here they are:

SOCOM II (PS2) – Only because I didn’t play enough of the original as I didn’t have my own PS2 at the time, and the game that officially turned me into a gamer.

Splinter Cell (Xbox) – The first one of the series that made me go out and buy an Xbox and start my transformation into a gamer.

God of War (PS2) – Probably the best game I have ever played. ...to date that is.

Star Wars: Galactic Battlegrounds (PC) – This game, along with its expansion pack, has been my go-to RTS whenever I need a fix, even to this day.

Uncharted Drake’s Fortune (PS3) – Yes, it is one of my all time favorite. Great story, gameplay, score, etc., etc.

Well, there are five of my favorites. What are some of yours?

Meh...I think you're forgetting some WAY bigger/better landmark games...

DOOM3 (PC)
All Battlefields (PC)
Grand Theft Auto 3 or Vice City or even San Andreas(ps2)
COD1,4 (PC&360)
GH1,2,3 & RB
and have to add Gran Turismo 2 or 3 (ps2) and MGS2 (ps2) and possibly Forza2 (360)

I'm gonna ask you questions, and every time you don't give me answers, I'm gonna cut something off. And I promise you...
they will be things you will miss!

I thought you weren't a MGS fan?

Mine would be:
Command & Conquer: Red Alert 2 (PC)
All Battlefields(PC)
All GTAs (PS2)
All GH's including RB (PS2, Xbox 360)
All Metal Gears (PS2)

Looks like we got a few in common rator.

Tetris(yes I still play it...only on NES of course, those other ones just dont feel the same)
Metal gear Solid(the PS1 version....simply amazing)
Counter Strike(this game got me into online gaming way back when, I remember having the beta for this in college)
SOCOM 1 and 2(you all know why)
Guitar hero 1 and 2 and Rock Band(I despise GH3)
Final Fantasy 7(played it to completion about 10 or so times)
and finally...

Mario 64( I just love it, I have it on my PC and still play it from time to time)

I'm not asking for best, that's subjective. I'm talking about personal favorites.

SOCOM 1 & 2

CoD4 (PS3)

Age of Empires III (PC)

Gran Turismo - all of them were a blast

Final Fantasy XI (PC) - had some great times with RL friends in this game

Naturally, I've played many more games than just these. But, when asked the question, these are the ones that come to my mind first because they are where I've had my greatest memories about gaming in general.

ok wait sons of liberty? it was awesome except the raiden character change. once you got past that, it was graphically, and mechanically awesome.

Well, Well, Well...

My faves in no particular order...
COD2, 3, 4
GH2, 3
Rockband
I'll probably get blasted for this one: Halo3
Don't like racing games.
Of course: RB6V1 and 2

I WILL LEAD BY EXAMPLE, NEVER REQUIRING A RECRUIT TO ATTEMPT ANY TASK I WOULD NOT DO MYSELF.

lol Halo 3 is a good game it just wasn't as good as people thought it would be so it made it look really really bad. I play every now and again when I have a lot of friends on.
