015 About the Sea Snipers®

About Us

Established in October of 2002, The Sea Snipers® are one of the most professional video game teams working in the industry today.

We’ve written and illustrated 10 official strategy guides for Brady Games and Piggyback Interactive, (Socom 3, Socom Combined Assault, Call of Duty 4 Modern Warfare, Call of Duty World at War, Call of Duty Modern Warfare 2, Call of Duty Black Ops, Halo: Reach, Halo: Combat Evolved Anniversary, Call of Duty Modern Warfare 3 and Call of Duty Ghosts) landing us in the Library of Congress, allowing us to leave a permanent mark in US history.

We were also hired to work on Brady Games’ first official iPhone app for COD Black Ops, generating new text, strategies and illustrating 8 additional maps. Individual members have worked on additional strategy guide titles as well, too numerous to name but include recent titles such as Titanfall, Thief and Battlefield 4.

Our hard work and professionalism gave us the opportunity to consult on COD Modern Warfare 3 and COD Ghosts for Infinity Ward thanks to Pete Blumel their producer who gave us the chance, and called our consulting feedback “awesome”. You can see our name in the credits in both titles under the “Special Thanks” section. Additionally, as a thank you, Infinity Ward added our logo featured as an unlockable emblem in Call of Duty Modern Warfare 2 and Modern Warfare 3. (Complete the "I'm Rich" Challenge to unlock.)
To get the most accurate, detailed and thorough information about the titles we work on, we get to go on-site at the developers studios. We get to speak with and work with the people that make the games, as well as even meet some celebrities. Working with the developers not only helps us deliver the most complete content possible, but we often help them by discovering bugs or glitches in the early versions of the games we get to work on, making the actual game better for the players.
For some of the strategy guides we’ve worked on (COD MW2, Halo Reach, COD Black Ops and COD MW3), we have also held midnight release signing events at GameStop and Best Buy stores across the country. These events included organizing and hosting tournaments with prizes, raffles and giveaways, free food and drink, as well as talking to players about the process, signing players’ games, guides, consoles and taking pictures with the fans.
On top of our contributions to the gaming community, such as free tactical map illustrations for games including Socom 1, Socom 2, and Rainbow 6 Vegas 2, we have also donated to organizations such as children’s hospitals, no-kill pet shelters, homeless shelters, and the U.S. Military overseas, shipping hundreds of items for the troops including games, movies, gear, food and other comfort items including hundreds of personal letters from the community to the troops.
We have also been running our own league, S.E.A.L. (Sea Snipers Evade & Assault League), for tactical FPS competition since 2004 and are always looking for good sportsmanlike teams to join us. If you’re interested, click on the S.E.A.L. link on the main page.

Our members are some of the most dedicated people around, dropping everything at a moment’s notice to fly across the country to work on professional projects, or just volunteering to maintain inner-clan stats, etc, our crew continues to exceed expectations in every way, in everything we do.

If you'd like a team of professionals to playtest your title, need a different set of eyes on your project, or just want more information about us, email rator@seasnipers.net

Yes of course, you are part of SS History!

And thanks DG, it was a tough decision since so many people know us for having flashy mcflashpants websites, but i think content (like gameplay) is king.

I'm gonna ask you questions, and every time you don't give me answers, I'm gonna cut something off. And I promise you...
they will be things you will miss!
