Yup, seems this might come out next year as a video game.

Paramount Pictures filed a trademark recently for a World War Z video game. A movie based on the novel is due out sometime next year.

The filing doesn't confirm a game is in development, but now Paramount has the option if they so choose. As noted by Siliconera, Paramount has been dabbling a bit in the games space with the release of The War of the Worlds, a download title, and Star Trek, due out early next year.

if you have read the book, it would be very hard to make a game from. I can see a few of the events being game worthy(the pilot alone in the swamps, the last stand at Yonkers)...but yeah...not really game material
