Hey Sea Snipers!

Wanted to say hello to everyone here! So glad to be able to meet and talk with some of you guys. Names HardCore. I am a old school Socomer. Played S1 and S2 and then tried Confrontation and S4 (which were both a waste of my time.) I am excited for H-Hour to drop. Anyways I ran into Sabotage over at the H-Hour forums and talked to him a little bit over there. I remember seeing you all around in S1 and S2, usually on the receiving end of on our your gunners though. Was hoping to see you guys make a comeback for Confrontation but then heard you went Xbox?

Anyways I am getting ready for the next set of shooters. I have never been a COD fan but looking to maybe getting into it when Ghost drops, although still undecided.

I am a Marine Veteran (discharged now, but Once a Marine, Always a Marine, SEMPER FI!), and still love guns and military things, and glad to meet all my brothers over here in the SS :)... Hope to get to know you guys better and shoot it up with ya sometime in the near future..

Yea we moved to the 360 when we heard Confrontation was almost 2 years out. We were NOT going to play Conbined Assault for another 2 years. We reviewed and researched both consoles and the 360 won.

COD is twice the speed at least of Socom, but it allows us to edit the private match rooms to our liking for our league. We pretty much set the league's season's formats to be very similar to Socom-style play.

yeah that sounds pretty cool and sounds like fun if you can get it to match a Socom style play.... What is your guys views on the Xbox1 and PS4 that are coming out soon?

Also I may not have a mic for a few days... Did not know my bluetooth headset I used for my PS3 wont work for the 360 :( but I will still be shooting it up for sure.

Confrontation was actually a pretty decent game after they patched it, far better than people give it credit for IMO, not a SOCOM II HD, but still provided many good nights that had that old feeling.

I'll agree that SOCOM 4 was just another generic shooter branded with the SOCOM logo though

downside was how many people confrontation lost because they releases a game that wasnt complete., even though Beta Testers told them it needed fixed..

Socom 4 was nothing more than crap in a box..

Right, although it wouldn't be the first time some higher up business exec has made a bad call about something he knows little of, which is what I assume was the case here because nobody directly working on a title wants to put out a half-finished product.

If they had released complete like it was after this first major patch, they would have had a much better ride without losing as many people initially, although I also think some gamers are becoming very egotistical and spoiled these days as well.
