ROTKE and the meaning...

Ok so please explain because you have a picture of a guy with his face slashed for your avatar, and when you click on your web site you have these three monks, and then when you enter you get something completely different again. PLUS your sig is a bull with some guy running. I am so confused is this some crazy German thing?

rotke has sons and daughters… three first sons: kenyatta, slomo and me.

the monks, as you call them is an image referring to those three…

my avatar is just an avatar showing a black me with slashed face, should look impressive, experiented in battle, scary and strange. the other rotkes look different though…

the sig is one part of a campaign we had online last year that claimed "go play, kids" and shows rotke gaming style (rotke is known for fierce, couragous, convinced, loyal, honorable - to others sometimes crazy and slightly suicidal - fighting styles… do you know the bushido? similiar to that).

the website is kind of a blogthing, because we care about lots of stuff besides playing socom, and also hosts non-rotkes. core theme is gaming in general…

i will start with the basics:
the pic you see above, the lady. that is mother. my mother (we call her "mutter", pronounce it like "moo-tar"). there also is a father (the "kellervater", pronounce it "cal-ar fart-ar") but he lives in the cellar with the chaindog (the "kettenhund" - speak it like "cat-an-hoond") and a brother of mine (his name is "azzi" - like "uzzy").

mother is rotke. and vice versa…
and a lot more.

there is even more to rotke. e.g. me, second son of rotke, adriana.

years ago when rotke started to support the sea snipers in their very first steps our parents were still siblings. this must have caused some serious confusion but we never cared. some tried to understand our cause but most of them failed. we had some hard times at the start and were mistaken frequently. we told them to no avail that we just wanted to play video games. they did not believe us so they had to meet our father, the kettenhund and our 'uncle from childrens welfare' (who plays an interesting counterpart to all the evil that is creeping to daylight from the cellar - even if his role was never clear).

Nowadays we have arranged ourselves with the situation and are quite happy in our quiet little blog. but mother will give us some nice advice soon, words the sons and daughters are waiting for. the day will surely come and mother and father will reunite. nyck, is this rotke ? or is it even more ??

PS: the kindest of regards go to the sea snipers for giving us a rotke thread in your forums. i am deeply honored by this, as i know is every rotke. mother might be a little deaf being probably of untellable age but i am pretty sure that she will be proud, too.
