Did you get it through steam? If so, go to the DLC tab on the game browser and open it. It'll show you the VIP code

Wrong. If that happened then you must be talking about some other version (PC or PS3) than the 360. I was playing last night and I still got horn blasted for 2 minutes before I got fed up and left the game.

horn still blasts on PS3 as well MN.

must have been a custom server on PC

Any PC server that I go on only has 2. Might be a minor update that never made it to the consoles.

yup gotta be a PC only thing, damnit! I was playing it on 360 the other day and got blasted off the damn game lol it is SOOOOO damn annoying

oof. Yeah... I guess with the console versions, it has to be a client patch.

With the PC, they patch the servers and the clients independently. And it's faster since MS or Sony don't have to approve, they just release them.

Question on the SP mode: I'm trying to clear the level called "exfiltrate" or something like that. The exfil has me and my squad in a Russian chopper running from the bad guys and I keep getting shot down at what I think is near the end of the level. Another chopper drops into view on my right and a guy fires an RPG from inside the cargo bay and takes out my bird and my team. I've tried over and over to kill him before he gets the shot off but I always miss. Anyone else have issues at this point and a suggestion other than "hit the target"? I've restarted the level over several times trying to ensure my chopper has all the health left in it when I get to that point of the level. Still, the best I have managed is keeping it at around 70% health when I reach that point. Thanks.

ok, I remember that part, I was like WTF!

you can shoot that chopper before it gets on level with you, it comes up from down below. as soon as you hear it coming find it and unload

Guess I'll give it another go tonight. Man, it's frustrating. I never can get enough rounds pumped into it to kill it quick enough. It explodes as part of the script though. I don't know whether to be encouraged by that or not.

The servers are patched and it's time to face the Onslaught! Battlefield: Bad Company 2 Onslaught mode is now available for purchase on the Xbox Live Marketplace for 800 MS Points and on the PlayStation Network for $9.99. We're happy to report that the server patches have addressed the recent lag issues and have been rolled out across all platforms!



Take the new servers for a spin and check out Onslaught mode, where a squad of up to four players to play new co-op missions against an army of enemy AI across four maps. Squads compete to obtain the best time on the leaderboards against other squads and have the ability to unlock eight new achievements. For more information, check out the Onslaught page!

I am liking the onslaut mode idea. Not sure I am interested enough to fork out $10 for it though....
