one thing im happy about, is that they are actually doing a proper PC version this time. Instead of the half assed piece of shit they did with DS1. With full on high resolution and high-res textures and proper M&K controls.

got my pre-order in today. Green Man Gaming was offering $15 credit with purchase, and since I already had 10 bucks credit on the site, I got the game for 39 bucks, and now I have an extra 15 bucks ready for my next game purchase!

ummm, I guess you could say it kind of is....in the fact that you level up and upgrade weapons and such.

its not as "open world" and its CRUSHINGLY difficult. You can probably pick up dark souls 1 on the cheap for 360 if you wanted to give it a whirl...but be prepared for death...lots of death...all the time

Yeah Shooter, I just finished the game a few days ago and, in the game, there is a death counter that tells you how many deaths there are in the entire game. When I finished there were close to 79,000,000 deaths worldwide. That's with the game being out for just about a week on consoles. That doesn't include PC deaths yet.

You have to let me know how the game is on PC DatGuy. I'm thinking about buying it. I want to see how close the graphics came to the game trailers. They had to tone it down quite a bit for consoles.

it it not toned down on Pc at all...looks fantastic.

I am running max settings and pulling down about 100 fps. Its so amazing the difference a high framerate and proper lighting makes in this game.

going from playing DS1 on PS3 to playing this on a pc is night and day.
