Modern Warfare 3 gets 20th title update; Double XP event coming this weekend

Earlier this morning, Infinity Ward revealed the official patch notes for the 20th title update for Modern Warfare 3. Represented as patch 1.20, with the introduction of this new patch, players will be granted with fixes for various issues that has been plaguing Modern Warfare 3 players, as well as support for the newest Elite drops.

As listed on the official Modern Warfare 3 forums, below you can view the official patch list that has been given by Infinity Ward:

Title Update 20

Support for Elite drops 19-24

Matchmaking improvements to use first party country if DML data isn't available

Additional logging for matchmaking

Update to Face Off spawn logic

Added logic to make Terminal count as an original map

Fix for XM25 challenges not registering properly

Fix for exploit that allowed change of a UAV into a second Ballistic Vest

Additionally, Infinity Ward has also announced that they will be conducting a Double XP event throughout the duration of this weekend, Friday through Monday. This information was revealed through the official Infinity Ward Twitter account earlier today.

We're turning on Double XP in #MW3 this Friday through Monday. Side note: we'll also have double weapon XP later this month.

Players should also note that a Double Weapon XP event is also planned to take place later this month.
