https://twitter.com/#!/fourzerotwo/s...84024368783360 guess he got sick of having to promote the same game with nothing new added to it year after year...or respawn grabbed him up. SPECULATE AWAY! |
Wow, crazy. He IS a nice guy, and DID give the community access to him, which most devs dont have, so kudos to that and best of luck to him for sure.
|
He's a good guy from what I can tell when meeting him. He will have a very successful career in the gaming world. Definitely set the bar for PR and community service for IW and other companies to learn and follow.

Looks like he’s already started his first gig:
Robert Bowling Resurrects Himself During E3 2012 With ‘Human Element’ E3 2012 News: Human Element, a Zombie Survival Horror Yarn, gets announced at the same time as E3 2012, but not during the actual show. Robert Bowling, former Call of Duty Creative Strategist, who resigned from Infinity Ward last March, jumped straight back into action, creating his own studio Robotoki Studios. Talking to Game Informer, the studio’s first game will be a survival zombie romp, going by the name of Human Element. |
Looks like he's made a turn in a different direction.
The Adventures of Dash is a unique adventure game created by Robert Bowling and his team at Robotoki. Having been a key player in the Call of Duty franchise for many years, Bowling has switched gears with this new title and created a truly unique 2D Side Scrolling platformer that features a sleepy young boy named Dash. Robotoki has taken The Adventures of Dash to Kickstarter hoping to raise $400,000. |
That's quite a diversion from his previous involvments.

Interesting. Hope it works out for him. The guy has passion and you just gotta love that.

I read up on this and he's not stopping work on HE, I think this new title is going to be on the OUYA or mobile, but his reasoning was that he didnt like to force his artists into a certain style of art (like for HE) and gave them the artistic freedom to work on this new project.
I think that's fuckin awesome. |
