Regardless of your delicate feelings a new PS3 model was confirmed by an FCC file submitted by Sony. This model number is CECH-3001A/B compared to the newest PS3 models on the market today, CECH-2XXX’s. The reason the file confirmed the new PS3 model instead of revealing it is the fact that this new PS3 was talked about since last December. There isn’t much to say about Sony’s latest version of its PS3s but it seems to have Blutooth and Wifi capabilities. However, I think it’s going to take a lot more effort on Sony’s part to win victims’ (of the PSN downtime) forgiveness then just a new PS3.
