Midnight Release Event[SS]Sabotage's Midnight Release Video
This guide marks our 7th guide as a clan (our 4th COD title) and personally I just passed the 300+ map mark. How crazy?

We worked on this guide with Phil Marcus as we did with the Halo Reach guide and it came out great. The multiplayer maps especially are very detailed and the LE guide comes with a nice table tent style map pack, super cool!

We went out and worked at Treyarch for a week+ and it was no joke. 9am-11pm or so every day hunched over our little tables with no air conditioning in CA! HOT!

We are going to be hosting several midnight release signing events across the country on monday night and will be getting pics and whatnot. We'll post up a nice little summary about our trip out to Treyarch and the midnight releases with tons of pics as soon as we can.

Best,

[SS]Rator & The Sea Snipers®

nice guys...Im sure its good!

KAIZER SOSA 11-06-2010 12:30 AM

Awesome.

I mentioned it in the Black Ops thread. Like I said before, most comprehensive guide you guys done yet. Digging the maps and tactical routes especially. Well worth my cash.

Good job!

AEJustin1 11-06-2010 12:40 AM

congrats again!

[SS]Rator 11-06-2010 11:36 AM

Thanks guys!

Actually Phil and his partner Jason Fox did the routes for those while we worked on mode/map tactics, custom classes, mapping and map objective locations, spawn points etc.

The guides do look great, and Rators maps are always the best in the industry. Everyone try's to copy him which is always a great compliment.

[SS]Rator 11-06-2010 12:28 PM

lol thanks Wally, actually yes these maps are some of my best work so far I think. Super detailed, and while i haven't seen the LE fold out version of them, i think those are larger than the ones IN the guide. What's cool is that you can just flip to the one you're playing on and stand it up on your coffee table and call out grid locations.

Very fun event. It was a smash for all of us. :music-081:

[SS]Rator 11-12-2010 09:29 PM

I have to say I'm really proud of my guys. They took it upon themselves to make their individual events as awesome as they could. They spent their own time, money and effort on these events and really made them awesome. Great job guys and thank you!

[SS]Wally 11-12-2010 11:37 PM

Another smash hit! What a great time, cant wait to do it again!

[SS]Hobo 11-13-2010 02:00 AM

What a great time I had at the event, but I did have a hard time convincing people that was really me in that ghillie, LoL.

I want to Thank all of you gamers out there for supporting us, you guys and gals are what motivates us to keep providing the gaming community with best work that we can.

[SS]Wally 11-13-2010 02:15 AM

If Rator does another poster with our signatures on them it will solve that problem.

[SS]Switters 11-13-2010 11:04 AM

Yeah, what everyone else said!!! That was an awesome experience and I can't wait for another opportunity like that.

I want to say thanks to johnnie, Andy, Eric, zack, and Kenny, the crew at gs that night, for letting me hang out with them Monday night. It was a cool evening for sure.

Thx to Rator and all the SS for kicking ass and making something like this happen!

And finally a shout out to Alan, drew, nick, Daniel and all of the crazy cats who waited in line for hours to get their mitts on the new call of duty!

[SS]Showstoper 11-13-2010 12:24 PM

The GameStop folks were excellent in everything we needed. The hundreds of folks waiting in line were very exciting and energetic throughout the night. Brady games folks are super cool to let us represent them on this night.

It was an experience that I won't soon forget, thank you all to the gamers who made this possible.

Thank you to my fellow Sea Snipers who gave me this chance to represent us in true fashion of Semper Frates.
