i refuse to buy another xbox as Microsoft has royally screwed there loyal fans with this crappy product i went through 3 xbox 360's in about 3 months and i didn't even play em that much but i bought a reg xbox back in like 02 and it has ran long and strong.

sry for the derailment but look at it this way R6V2 comes out for xbox a month before it does computer. give it some thought ,please

my clan does not have a rainbow six section and i plan on starting one up for xbox(diff system diff section) and PC and we are looking forward to playing competitively

how can you play R6:V competively on PC if the servers can't be locked?

Or rather, you can't enter a password in the client.

We - <1> - looked at it for competition purposes and loved the game play, but the in ability to lock servers kinda made the whole thing moot.


(And we ended up going to COD4, which we love.)

The PC version is just going to be another shit-ass port.

The gameplay rocks, but without lockable servers it's useless for clan matches.

I'm primarily a PC (FPS) player, but yeah, Vegas 1 was not friendly to clans. Sadly, in my opinion, and the R6 series has always been fantastic for PC gamers.

It's not RvS, but it's the closest they've come since then. Why do all games now insist on regenerative health?!

Because all games suck these days. They may look pretty, but, I would rather play anything else. Give me a health bar and let me die like I would in real life. Well I guess in real life I would try to lite a smoke with my arm half tore off, but hey I can thank Hollywierd for that.

More people want regenerative health than those of us that want it to be static. It's THAT simple.

I think Id rather have a bar as well, until I can get near a teammate that has a couple medkits ya know, kinda like in the SP version of CA, but you could only have 1 or 2 guys that have maybe like a total of like 4 kits or something...

I hate the fucking health regen shit. It just makes games work like this:
"Well, since we have regen health, we have to make sure there's a challenge, so randomly something will just one-shot you."

Huzzah for game design.
