ok, this has to be one of the best FPSs I've played in a LONG while.

Balanced. Each class is unique and not over powered. The maps are awesome. Multiple game modes/objectives...

I'm a huge proponent of the "Gameplay is KING" theory. And this game is ALL gameplay...

it's just friggen polished.

Half Life 2 is the second best single player FPS I've ever played (it's only SLIGHTLY lesser than BioShock... and about 2x as long.)

Then you get HL2: Episodes 1 and 2 which is a continuation of the story and another 10 hours or so of game play.

Also you get Team Fortress 2 which most of my clan has been playing NON STOP due to it's awesomeness. It's really quite possibly the best multi FPS I've played in years.

And then Portal which is a FPS puzzle game.

Picked it up last night Chenzo. Played TF2 for a little bit, still need to get used to the controls and what al lthe characters do....Half-Life, I didn't play the first one, so I'm gonna miss most of the story. But Half-Life 2 seems ok, haven't really done much in it, maybe 10 minutes or so into it really. HAven't even touched Portal yet.

I love half life 2, I have it for my PC. Have not played the other games yet.

I didn't play with nearly that many people in the room........I think the most we had was 6 a side, and I didn't see any lag. But I only played it for about a half hour or so before practice.

It is kind of like a cartoon though...And they sayings each character has are pretty funny.

the only character that pisses me off is the Spy...becasue you can cloak yourself as a person on the opposing team, you take on whatever character they're playing...Kinda funny when I saw myself walking towards me......I was like, "hey - wait a minute..."KA-BOOM!" there were pieces of him all over the place. LOL

TF2 takes a little bit to get used to.

The anti-spy is the pyro. When we start to have spy issues, I switch to pyro and just set anything I see on fire.

Friends don't burn. Spies do.

You lagged with 12 people? per side or total? (That kinda sucks.)

The PC version's server is just teh Steam Engine so everyone knows how to mod it. Our servers are up to 36 people total (18 a side) and we've got maybe 5 or 6 new maps that are being accepted by most players and are becoming more common on all servers.

I've been rocking out mostly as Engi, which we've decided is the class retards like to play. Well placed sentry guns are KEY to winning defensive maps.

And I've been playing as medic cause Heavy/Medic combos are the only way really to break well placed sentry guns. (Or be a spy and sap them after you've stabbed the engi.)

I picked this up for the PC last week.

i played it for the 360. i just didnt like the gameplay of team fortress. i mean if it was the only game i had i would play it no problem but i think that its a bit over rated

I'm about 1/4 done the Frostfire map modded for TF2. I've got the terrorist platform done, and all the layout and mock-up buildings are in. The terrorist tunnel is done, and today I will be working on the Seals tunnel. I love the SDK.

i bought the orange box for the 360, when i start the console with the disc in it makes a loud noise ( only for this game, all others load fine) it loads the game then wont let me choose one of the game choices as if the controller doesn't work , i thought maybe my controller broke , nah, works fine for all other games. Maybe a bad disc, nah , returned it got a new one and having same problems, any one else? tried to google , found nothing. Any help will be appreciated.

disregard , it was registering my hard wired guitar in the plug in, thats why it would not let me use my wireless controller. as far as the noise thing , once i laid the console flat all noise was gone.
