View Full Version : Request

If anyone is interested in making a sig, I'd like to have one. This isn't a request for Rator. Rather, I'm asking anyone else who feels inclined to help a guy out. LOL, that didn't sound right. My point is he's a busy person. This is for someone who would like some sig-making practice.

At one time a few years ago, I played with graphics a bit. But, those limited skills are long gone from my repitoire. Thus, this request.

What I'm looking for is a basic sig with my name only. No pictures or animations....just the name "Tagger". In fact, it would be great if the only thing seen of the sig is my my name. I'd rather not have a rectangle shown around the name.

As far as font goes, I'm open.

With my internet connection getting tweaked this week (hopefully), I should be back into online gaming soon. So, as part of my ressurection from the hell of single-player gaming, I'm hoping to get a little help.

Here ya go. I tried, lol. I know it sucks, but its a start for something better to come. I have no idea how to do sigs, but at least you wont be naked.

Thanks, Bassani. I need to reload Photoshop and relearn some basics. Last time I attempted any graphics I was running AE. It was a good lesson for me in where my puter skills fall short of decent, lol. I appreciate it man.

To funny Bassani. Even though the others are cooler, I think yours is more fitting.

Uh, I don't know how it got that size? All I did was upload it to putfile and linked it here. Maybe I used the wrong link?

Geez, I'm not even a moving target.

LOL

what's the code you're using to embed it?

I think in theory you could just usehttp://seasnipers.net/forums/attachment.php?s=&postid=67813

so it'll look like this:

http://seasnipers.net/forums/attachment.php?s=&postid=67813

edit, ok, WTF is the point of having a CODE tag if it doesn't prevent parsing of the code, eh? UPDATE YER FACKING FORUMS.

anyway, tagger, just use the IMG (with brackets) and this as the source:

http://seasnipers.net/forums/attachment.php?s=&postid=67813

heh, np Tagger...

I'd post the code here for ya, but the stupid CODE tag doesn't work right so the image comes up instead of just diplaying the code and truncating the facking URL.

God damn I hate you Rator, and your never fucking updating your software ways.

It's been a long time since I tried attaching a sig using vb code. I read the faq in these forums on vb. And, I'm using the img and /img inside brackets. I must be using the wrong source code.

I've tried using the html, url, and bb codes linked from putfile as well as the source code you gave me Chenzo. Not sure what I'm doing wrong. This used to be second nature when I was working with sigs once I learned how.

All I did to the images was right click and save as .gif's to my hard drive and then upload them to putfile.

make the source this:

seasnipers.net/forums/attachment.php?s=&postid=67813

but you need to add the http:// in front of it.

Must've picked up a space at the end of the source code is why I had so much trouble getting it right. Thanks again.
