I live in Ontario Canada and my power just came on at 10:00pm some are expected to be out for a few days.

Well, it sucked. We got our power back on LI at 4am. Some places still are out. No work today because JFK still has no power. I'm pissed because I need to be in tomorrow at 8am to make sure the flights go out. Sucky ass shit.

I will use my day off to swim in the pool...its 82 degrees in the deep end! WOOOOOO!!!

I went to work at 8am and was sent home....NO POWER!! Back to the pool!

one of our guys has been affected by the blackouts. positivly and negativly.

negativly - he has to boil water to drink now.
positivly - he's getting lots of overtime work.
