Socom 2 Beta Test!!!!!!!!!!

hey guys i received and email and phone call from sony reference my email to them about beta testing for socom 2 ....... they asked me for all info like address, isp , and if i had a network adapter... anyone else get this call? or email?

Yeah me 2, I got the email. I was also on playstation.com forums, a LOT of people got that email.......DAMMIT!

Looks like I got it too, but no phone call. I think sony is too cheap to call internationally so I'm not really expecting one. Even if I don't get to beta test I hope at least one of us will. So good luck to all, and keep your fingers crossed.

i used to write them like 3 times a week and call them also right after the emails!!! LOL.....

well darnit.. i ddint see any thread for this so i made another.. but yes I got the same thing.. but dont dispair guys.. I got the same thing when I applied to Beta Test Evercrack: Frontiers... and guess what.. Just got the Beta Test Kit for it.. They weed out all the young players im sure.. so dont lose faith..

I you want to confirm, go to the playstation site......there should be a beta test program tag at the top of the page.Or......go to the forums and your name will be GREEN and it will say Socom2 beta tester above your avitar. If it's NOT.......try loggin out and back in again.......that's what I did and my name TURNED GREEN! SWEEEEEET!

hey sport........ did your name turn green after you sent the email from sony saying reply by 1159 pm and after you reg in same email did you see your name in the green? or was it another email after that from sony?

You go to playstation.com forums and log in. Where it has your name and shit on the right hand side, your name should be green and it should say Socom II beta tester. If it doesn't log out and in again.

If it's not green when you log in, try logging out, and then back in.
I think if it accepted your info when you replied.....your in.
Once it's full it will not aceept anymore.

Everybody that is a beta tester can kiss my butt. Where's my email? Where's my phone call? All I received is one measly email about a month ago that said they would be choosing shortly.

Kiddin' all, actually I'm super jealous. Is the beta test gonna be online or single player only. I heard some ppl chatting about it in game (so it has to be true).

yo guys...the ps2 site has been updated....click on the bets test thing...it says my beta test kit will be here in 1-2 weeks..... we all should get together and do a random game and do all the maps!!!

But out of the hundreds of thousands that play the game, 10,000 is just a drop in the bucket......
Jammer it's all online, not sure if there will be a single player version......maybe a demo or somethin. The reason for the testing and the amount of testers is to test the new servers.
