I just pre-ordered mine today. There is DLC you input into your Origin account so it can be ready for download the day the game comes out. Which BTW I asked the awesome hippie dude at my GameStop when does the game come out, he said it's release is in OCT2013. I didn't get a date though.

It also came with authentic BF4 dogtags. Of course, I'll never wear those. I got the real things :)

So I guess they will do just like the last time it came out, they'll release in October and the COD game Ghosts will come out in December as always.

Dunno it's coming out in Oct2013. Consoles come out when? Next year? I'm talking the Xbox console, not the PS4. And if they did come out with the new consoles this year, I'm pretty sure that most Xbox 360 games would be put on some type of online server, where it would confirm you have the game and key you download it unto your condone hard drive.

Something like to that effect...

Excellent point to concider. I was thinking of pre ordering this as it is a clear must have. However I think I will wait till I find out more details.

Glad to hear it will launch in Oct as a posed the the listed release on Amazon at the end of Dec.

Yeah I'm so excited for commander mode, that's almost all I used to do in 2142 is sit in the Titan and command.

The multiplayer almost made me faint because of the awesome overload that was going on in my head, I mean... They dropped a tank through the mother flipping ground, straight up bank heist style. Then, they collapsed an entire skyscraper! I mean omg!

Well from the video everything looked to be in layers and looked to have specific spots on the map to look. Also if you remember, since squad leaders can point out specific spots on in their field of view. I think you would just move the thumbstick from object to object or you would move a mouse like curser and just have it be super slow and complicated, possibly frustrating.

Oh most definitely. This engine is genius, there's no reason not to play it at its full potential. I saw a peek of C&C Generals in there too, that's the next Frostbite 3 game I'm waiting for.

I hope its good, C&C has sucked in recent years. But Company of Heroes 2 came out today!

Yea but they upped the number of players on the console. Also, I think there's a glitch in the bone with running games at 1080 since I heard COD will also START running at 720 but heard it will get patched to 1080

there are some major issues currently with XBone development due to their architecture. The simplest way I can put it, is they PS3'd themselves. Its not efficient on the memory swapping, hence the lack of AA, the lack of AO(ambient occlusion), and cheaper looking particles.

so far, this game is an improvement over BF3. I would call it BF3.6

Im not a huge fan of some of the maps as they seemed to be designed around their levolution moment, and less around actual gameplay...but its still good.

classes are balanced alot better as well.

another sick thing that Nvidia did(which applies to all games just not BF) is added a feature called Shadowplay. It passively records the games for you and if something cool happens, you can hit Alt-F10 and it spits out your last 20 minutes of gameplay in 1080p at 60fps.

I have a few vids saved from crazy Battlefield moments already.

so far I give this game a 7/10

yeah, it has been a shitshow, I have barely played it...although its getting good now with patch after patch on PC.

I know Xbone is a couple patches behind PS4 and PC right now, but I can't comment on how its working over there.

I'm just not finding it as good as BF3, not bugs wise, just overall game wise.

I'm not a fan of the maps, they don't flow very well at all.

This game is just amazing. The change from 3 to 4 is so big it is mind boggling. Absolutely love it. I have had it for 2 days now. Played like 18 hours the first day I got it. Best thing so far is counter knifing love it!

personally, I think BF4 is a big step back in functionality from BF3...

basically it was released too early, its broken. Plain and simple.

Besides the tech issues, the maps seem to be designed around the wow moments instead of gameplay. The only map I enjoy is Gormund railway, because it plays like a battlefield map.

Gunplay is fine, same as always, however, the server tick rate of about 10-15 makes it so that the faster firerate guns are the only ones to use. To put it in perspective, my CS server has a 128 tick rate.

I just hope they fix it, but there are too many issues currently.

What tech issues do you know of or have experienced?

Today is the first I have seen issues. And they are pretty much just relating to getting in game. Seems like there are few servers and the ques are 18-40 peeps long. And then I will get disconnected frequently (1-3 times a day) and have to go back into the crazy long ques. Other than that I am not sure what the bugs are.

More on the plus side: with battlelog I can find servers that are close to me (ping under 20) and click play for that server on battlelog from my laptop and it will connect my xbox one to that game. How cool is that?!?!?! If only more games were like that......

Not seeing any of that on XO accept the rubber banding....if that is what I think it is. And that only happens when my internet speeds go way down....need to chat with my ISP about that....

Can you give more info on the "1 hit bug"? Is it an exploit? Or just a passive glitch that causes folks to die from one hit from even a weak weapon? Is it one of those "you died" messages? Like when you crash a chopper?

I used to love what DICE does. Now?....Is it too late to get a refund? (...I need some $$$ for Titanfall...)

[Update] Battlefield 4 Naval Strike DLC Delayed Indefinitely On PC, Xbox One (http://www.gameinformer.com/b/news/archive/2014/03/25/6704933.aspx)

"We have delayed the PC version of Naval Strike because we are concerned that the combination of the pack and planned PC updates would increase performance issues on mid-range to high-end PCs," DICE shared via a post on the Battlefield Blog. "Additionally, we have decided to delay the Xbox One version of Naval Strike because we want to address issues in the animation system that hinder players from engaging targets in set circumstances using popular weapon configurations."

yeah BF4 has been a really bad ride for dice.

Titanfall however, is amazing(when MS's servers are functioning) It was down most of the day yesterday

That’s why I quit playing BF....it was (not sure if it still is) crazy bad.

I haven't played BF4 since about november.

The 10 tick servers just dont work and make the game play like shit.

and just for comparison, CS uses 64 tick on their matchmaking servers and 128 tick on the community ones.

not ready yet, its still running on 10-tick servers, so you will still get horrid hit detection and perceived lag even though you have a good ping.

they are going to implement 30 tick servers soon(currently testing them on PC) but 30 tick still isnt that good.

On top of all the tech issues, the game itself was very poorly designed.

I bought when it first came out. Racked up maybe 4 hours playing time and put it away.

Wow. Coolest easter egg ever. Well maybe not but it is a very good one. I just LOVE how much these guys show they love their own game and love the players. DICE rocks.

There is no way those guys figured that out. Someone had to have helped them or at least put them on the path. All that work, just for some camo!!???

I know right?!?! There must have been clues. Those buttons are so small and in seriously hard to notice places! There had to be clues.

I did it. You can do it with one person really. But one person alone can complete it in the same time 7 people working together can. So better to group up. I did it with just one other guy. The problem is that I got my individual Morse-code code and I can not decipher it accurately. I was using an app on my phone that worked pretty well but when it got to the numbers it only read "4..8768." the dots I am sure are numbers it did not translate. after 3 hours of trying I recorded 4 minutes of the flashing lantern so I could decipher it later.

If anyone knows Morse code and can help me with the numbers or has a more reliable app or computer program that can help me I would appreciate it. I am trying to upload it to YouTube now....we will see how that goes.

Any help getting the code would be VERY appreciated. The phone app I was using ("Morse Talk" in the google app store) was excilent on the text but just could not seem to get all the code. All I could get was "4..8768." and the dots are numbers it could not get.

Anyone need to get a code just hit me up, I got this down pretty good.
