yes, I have read them, about to read them a second time after Im done with the current series Im reading(I read A LOT).

they are great, way better than the show. Although, the show is a REALLY good adaptation.

S3E01 was very interesting. The little Lanister is very angry. I expect him to get brutal soon.

He and the little Stark girl are my favorite characters right now. ...not favorite enough for me to remember their names though....lol

well you should read them after you have seen the seasons pertaining to that book, and get the better version of the story

I would like to watch this show but I've never seen the 1st and 2nd season. I know the 3rd season is on HBO, which I don't subscribe to. Any idea on how I can watch the first 2 seasons without getting HBO?

I have been waiting for 3 years to see peoples reactions to this...I have been loling for days.

just to put this in perspective, this is halfway through the 3rd book(of a 7 book series). Next season will have 3 moments that are almost on par with that one...

Yeah the nest season will finish the third book and get a little into the fourth I presume. There are lots of amazing things in the third book and its all necessary.

Yeesh. There have been big events in the last two episodes. Such as the result of the fight with the baby snatcher....by the most unlikely person.

I really like this show. Well 90% of it anyways. Many parts I wish could have gotten cut....But the other 90% are pretty awesome.

This last episode of GoT was some of the best TV I have ever seen. I'll even go out on a limb and state that it's the best episode I've ever seen of any show. Past or present. A couple episodes of Deadwood came close but not close enough.

I knew the Red Wedding was coming. I just didn't expect it to be so brutal. A few things were changed from the book. Just a couple and they weren't that big of a deal.

And for those that might have missed it.....DAMN!! That was a great episode. Part of me is glad I haven’t read the books as that would have spoiled it for me. Sort of like the Walking Dead. I’ve stayed away from the Graphic Novels for that very reason....

Well they're told completely different from the show. It's really a matter of opinion to say the books are better, expecially because of how well produced the show is. I love both for completely different reasons. Also, a few key things are changed in the books, so two different experiences and in that sense DG is right, you should read the books.

Ha ha...awesome. Honestly, I don’t want to read the books for fear that I’ll know what’s going on. One of the great quotes from the writer was about the red wedding. He said ‘now you know why your nerdy friends were depressed 13 years ago!’ And he’s right. If I knew about that... I would have been waiting for it.
