Stingerwooten and Tman sent us a link about a phony SEAL named Salhem Dreasden who was a friend of a parent and showed up at a school in Thousand Oaks, CA on a “Thank You, Soldiers” event that the students sponsored according to the Ventura County Star;
The name Salhem Dreasden, however, does not appear anywhere in databases of Navy service members that go back to at least the Vietnam War, said Katie Suich, a spokeswoman for the Navy Personnel Command in Tennessee. There aren’t any S. Dreasdens in the database, either, she said.
Federal law prohibits the unauthorized wearing of a U.S. military uniform.
Dreasden could not be reached for comment Wednesday.
Why is it always the portly ones? He doesn’t look like he could carry a sack of groceries to his car let alone run across a beach with a sand bag on his shoulders. I hope someone punches his flabby face for raining on these kids’ sunny day and their important tribute to the troops.
