Game Camera

My wife got me a game camera for Christmas. I've wanted one for a long time but they were always too expensive. Walmart had one this year for $45 and it is pretty nice. Here's a couple of deer in my back yard (field). My house is the gray one on the left and our red shop out back. The buck is just a spike now and one horn is either broken or didn't grow as fast.

That is really cool man. The pics look rather decent for the price. $45 you say? I may have to get one. I am going to start doing some serious hunting/tracking of coyotes in my area and something like that would be helpful. .....cept' there are no trees in the desert to mount it on....dang....

Yeah, the originals looked even better, I was playing around with my Macbook photo editor and screwed them up. Also, it takes night pics with a flash and even has a movie mode if you wanted live footage. Well worth 45 bucks. It has an SD card that we just pull out and pop into the iPad, works great!

Buy a 4"x4" piece of wood about 8' long & plant it in the ground 2 to 3 feet & mount it to that???

Good idea. However a bigger problem is the meth heads around.... They tend to comb the countryside looking for scrap metal to sell to support their habbit. If I mounted something on a 'post' as you described, I would never see it again as it would stand up and stick out like a sore thumb.

I miss everything that is not a desert..... SF was nice....sigh...
