I can't believe we are not freaking out over this.

The original series was like General Hospital and Rick Springfield for my Mom.

I was there ever week watching, saved all the TV Guides with V on the cover. It got to the point that my Dad got onboard.

I was extremely po'd when I watched Independence Day for the first time with the direct rippoff of the alien motherships. But Will Smiths punch and 'Welcome to Earth' almost saved it.

So here we are 25+ years later? and we have another V rendition.

From all the vids I have watched it looks like fun.

Starts Nov 3rd on ABC. Don't know if it is a mini-series, series, or movie yet.

Dude I totally loved this as a kid. I would LOVE to see a good remake. Looks like it is on a good start. I am all over it.

Crud I may have to finally subscribe to some kind of TV service......dang.

Did anyone catch the pilot last night? My DVR was already set to record 2 shows, and I missed it. Totally bummed.

Trying to find a rebroadcast, doubt I will get to see it until the season comes out on DVD.

I watched it last night and recorded it on Comcast - wish I had a way of sending it to you. It was excellent. bummed it was only an hour long pilot, but this is a series I watched as a kid and can definitely watch again as an adult. They've definitely incorporated todays world into the story line.

As a side note, the SciFi channel was running the original last night as well. Wally, check the internet for a webisode - ABC might stick on their web page at a later date

I am bummed....looked into various TV services. They want too much money...one of them wanted a loan.....

Yeah I figured after a couple weeks I might be able to watch it streamed on abc's website.

I do have the complete original mini-series, and full series. BADASS!

I have been watching this on ABC's site. Out of order cause the site is not in order....

But it is pretty good. Can't wait till I move out of 'trailer park USA' and into town so I can get a reasonable TV hook up. (right now they want a loan from me ranging from $180-$250 depending on the sat-tv carrier....all that is available where I am. I don't give loans to large corporations.....yeesh.)
