A bunch of us comb the net and post crazy stories that make us all scratch our heads about everyday citizens around the world. Well maybe everyday citizens is a bit of a stretch, but I thought we could compile all into one little nifty thread.

To start things off I caught this on my local news' website and thought this was crazy.

Enjoy!

Wis. man marries mail-order bride using other girlfriend's money

ELLSWORTH, Wis. -- Forty-one-year-old Raymond Edward Jackson is a heartbreaker and now a convicted felon.

His crime?
Brace yourself ladies.
He is the reason to become a modern day feminist.

Last winter Jackson told his Ellsworth, Wisconsin bride to be he had to fly south for a job, but would marry her upon his return.
But what he really did was steal her credit cards, laptop, suitcase and engagement ring and flew to Hawaii to marry a mail order bride.
Jackson was arrested by authorities in Maui for his crimes.
On Monday, he was sentenced to a year and a half in jail in Pierce County.
"Our biggest concern is keeping him off the streets so he is nowhere near me or my family," the victim's son Jamie Otto said Thursday.
Jackson racked up thousands of dollars in debt for the woman he left here at home.
Spending money on his Hawaiian wedding, on the victim's dime.
Stealing not only her money, and possessions, but robbing her of her dignity, and trust.

B.C. police seek serial groin-kicker after series of attacks

LANGLEY, B.C. -- Police in Langley are investigating after a woman kicked a man in the groin so hard he lost a testicle -- the latest in a series of similar assaults.

"I just want to know what her problem is," victim Anthony Clark, 22, said this week. "People like her shouldn't be on the streets."

Mr. Clark was walking in the Brookswood area of Langley in early September when he passed his assailant on the sidewalk.

"I was looking down and then I took a passing glance and saw her walk up to me," he said.

That's when the young woman inexplicably kicked him in the groin hard enough to send one of his testicles into his abdomen.

Mr. Clark said he wasn't aware of the severity of his injury until later that night when he "noticed something was missing."

He consulted his doctor and a specialist, both of whom believed his testicle could be brought down again with surgery.

It wasn't until he woke up afterwards that he discovered the doctors were wrong - the force of the assault had caused his testicle to rupture. It had to be removed and will be replaced by a prosthetic before Christmas.

"My doctors say I will still be able to have children," Mr. Clark said. "But at 22 that's not something I want a stranger, this woman, to decide."

Embarrassed by the situation, Mr. Clark didn't go to the police until nearly four weeks after the attack.

Constables have told him there have been three or four similar assaults on other men, Mr. Clark said.

Langley RCMP said they would like to speak to other victims, although there have been no official reported incidents, spokeswoman Const. Holly Marks said.

The suspect is described as a Caucasian woman, in her late teens or early 20s. She was between five-foot-five and five-foot-seven and 130 pounds with a slim build and brown hair.

CONWAY, S.C.- A Horry County man accused of having sex with a horse pleaded guilty Wednesday.

Rodell Vereen, 50, was ordered to appear at the Horry County courthouse in Conway to faces charges of buggery after a woman set up a surveillance camera and caught him on tape having sex with her horse in July.

Circuit Court Judge Larry Hyman sentenced Vereen to 5 years in prison, suspended to 3 years in prison and 2 years probation.

Horse owner Barbara Kenley says she staked out the stable and caught Vereen sneaking into the barn less than two weeks later, holding him at shotgun point until police arrived.

Kenley had seen Vereen before.

Vereen pleaded guilty last year to having sex with the same horse and was put on probation and ordered to register as a sex offender.

Man says he stabbed himself because he didn't want to work

A 29-year-old man who claimed he was attacked and stabbed by three people - skinheads or Hispanic males - confessed Monday night that he stabbed himself because he didn't want to go to work, Edgewater Police said today.

The man, Aaron Siebers, walked into his employer, the Blockbuster Video store at 1921 Sheridan about 6:30 p.m. Monday, and reported the attack. He said the trio was dressed in black.

Siebers, of Denver, had a deep stab wound to the lower leg plus several superficial knife wounds, according to Steve Davis, spokesman for the Edgewater Police Department.

Five police agencies responded to the scene. In addition to Edgewater police, the Jefferson County Sheriff's Department, Mountain View Police, Lakeside
Post Poll - Avoiding Work

Police and Lakewood Police Department officers set up a large perimeter and began a manhunt for the suspects.

K-9 units were brought into search for the perpetrators.

Siebers was taken to Saint Anthony's Hospital where he was treated. He received numerous stitches to close the leg wound, said Davis.

Davis said detectives went to the hospital and interviewed Siebers and also reviewed videos from a nearby Target store, which had numerous surveillance cameras. A review of the cameras showed no attack had taken place near the Target store as Siebers claimed, said Davis.

After Siebers was released from the hospital, detectives again questioned him. They confronted him with the evidence from the surveillance cameras and his changing stories about who attacked him, said Davis.

At that point, Siebers confessed and told them he stabbed himself because he didn't want to go to work, said the police spokesman.

Davis said Siebers had taken a bus from Denver to the Blockbuster store in Edgewater. The surveillance video from the Target store showed him walking from the bus stop to the store without any indication he was suffering from a deep stab wound, said Davis.

Siebers was arrested and charged with false reporting and obstructing a police officer, both misdemeanors. He was taken to the Jefferson County Jail.

"If you are going to concoct a story about being stabbed, don't do it near a Target store," said Davis.
