Station, Station, Nightfire, Kneedeep & Kneedeep

“Station“ offers a bombed out underground train station littered with destroyed subway cars, hidden passageways, loading platforms and second story overlooks. This medium sized map is perfect for dominating Capture the Flag and other team games and provides a wide range of combat options from close range choke points to hidden sniper spots.

Fire-bombed Berlin provides the backdrop for “Nightfire,“ an intense battlefield for mid to large-scale team games. Shelled buildings and ruins of the city provide coverage among the war-ravaged streets, and the flames of the burning city expose the enemy running through the night. Fight for your life knowing that this fiery urban battlefield may soon be your grave.

“Knee Deep“ takes place on the island of Peleliu in a once tranquil village turned chaotic Japanese command center. Aiming to retrieve the valuable intel housed in the command post, troops fight through the jungle, wade knee deep in streams and take battle positions in fortified Japanese bunkers to secure this important communication center. Ideal for all combat scenarios and designed for larger team games and objective matches.

No screens for Verrückt ( Zombie Asylum ) Which means Crazy in German, but...

The fan favorite 4-player co-op Nazi Zombies Bonus Mode returns with “Verrückt,“ a terrifying Zombie asylum located in the outskirts of Berlin. The map splits the four players into pairs, challenging the two teams to find each other for survival. Featuring more weapons, perks via the addition of Perks-a-Cola machines, electroshock defenses and the endless Nazi Zombie horde, “Verrückt“ will push you to the edge of your sanity.

Title Update 3 (concurrent with Map Pack 1)

Hi everyone!

So as you know, Map Pack 1 is releasing shortly (March 19th) or has already released depending on when you read this. With it, a new TU / Patch is being released for the Xbox 360 and Playstation 3.

We have been reading many of the suggestions in the community rgarding improvements to the game, and hope that you’ll find many of them in the list below. I think the most popular item in this list will be the improvements to the spawn system included in this TU =).

Items Addressed:

All rifle grenades fired during the first 15 seconds of Search & Destroy will be duds to prevent griefing in that game mode.
Improvements have been made to the global spawn system – players should never spawn within the line of sight of an enemy.
Players who equip the Bouncing Betty and melee teammates in Hardcore game modes are now credited with a team kill penalty.
Players are now deducted 200 points for team killing the bomb planter/defuser in Hardcore Search & Destroy.
Martyrdom no longer causes “direct impact” grenade deaths in Hardcore modes.
Players ranked higher than the maximum allowed in the Boot Camp playlist are no longer able to play in games with lower ranked friends in that playlist.
“Bayonet jumping” has been disabled.
Further improvements have been made to geographical matchmaking.
The “New” icon clears when a player has viewed an unlocked weapon (X360 only).
Many zombies were raised from the dead.
Hope to see you online, and enjoy the new updates and maps!

Regards,
-JD

"Players who equip the Bouncing Betty and melee teammates in Hardcore game modes are now credited with a team kill penalty."

I play very little HC. So, can someone please explain this one? Thanks.

Well, if you went around holding a Betty, you could still knife your teammates. Typically, 3 teamkills and you are booted. But teamkills that occurred while you were running around holding a Betty and knifing people didn't count towards the three.

So stupid kids would run around with Bettys out knifing everyone...

Ah, I see.

On a related note: I can't add MS points to get the mappack? wth? I keep getting the message that the information is unavailable from Live or something like that. Never happened before.

ask this guy

http://military.discovery.com/technology/weapons/snipers/images/9-long-shot-625x450.jpg

The longest range recorded for a sniper kill currently stands at 2,430 meters (2,657 yd, or 1.51 miles), accomplished by Master Corporal Rob Furlong, a sniper from Newfoundland, Canada, in March 2002 during the war in Afghanistan. Furlong made this record-breaking kill while he was participating in Operation Anaconda. He was a member of the 3rd Battalion Princess Patricia's Canadian Light Infantry (PPCLI). To make the kill, he used a .50 caliber BMG (12.7 mm) McMillan TAC-50 bolt-action rifle.[8]

Him I like. :happy-047: Him, that granny above, and the gun chicks. They know how and are not afraid to use a weapon.

( As a side note: I have been to Newfoundland )

Besides we all know that I was referring to a particular Canadian....
