A complex, multi-layered mystery adventure, the film is set in an alternate 1985 America in which costumed superheroes are part of the fabric of everyday society, and the “Doomsday Clock” – which charts the USA’s tension with the Soviet Union – is permanently set at five minutes to midnight. Saw it yesterday with my wife.

Very disappointed. 2 hours and 42 minutes of my life wasted that I will never get back.

The movie was a gay porno. The plot sucked. The 'super hero' powers sucked. The fight scenes were A typical. And to the gay porno comment....the blue guy was full frontal nude 90% of the time with his schlong hanging out...some times in multiples of 4....he can duplicate himself....and enlarge.....

My wife and I gave 2 thums down.

Heh...I don't recall if they showed the dong 'biggie sized'....but they showed it A WHOLE FREAKING LOT. They showed the guy 'biggie sized' a number of times....but he was wearing the 'supper spandex thong' or it was just not shown.

Yeah there was a lot of blue dick, but just don't stare at it like Midnight did.
The movie was awsome. There is only one guy who was a "super" hero, and his powers were pretty incredible.

I don't think Midnight watched anything but the big blue schlong.

Yeah typically for me, if a movie looks weird as fuck (like this one did), then it probably will be.

Its cool that they put the whole "graphic novel" feel to it, but for a comic-esque type movie, it was just too damn weird.


THANK GOD, that Marvel up'd their game with The Incredible Hulk & Iron Man (both of which were entertaining, and actually had solid plots, and good acting)

That dong....and the duplicates....where definitely in there more than was needed....wasn't needed at all...

It was rated R with showing of genitalia? Should that not have qualified for X??? Seriously.
There was a more standard sex scene in the movie.....no genitalia there...T&A yes... genitals are ok if they are CG?

And ya for a super hero movie....one one guy had powers and he had all the powers that one would attribute to God.....a bit over doing it.....

And the moral of the story was "the end justifies the means".....kinda dark....but then the whole movie was dark. And I can see why Sporto liked it....lots of fist O' fighting. But it was boring standard stuff... IMO.

Forgetting Sarah Marshal had a ton of cock shots as well, while the movie was funny as hell, it really kept one uncomfortable with the cock shots..

granted, it was for seconds at a time, but it was still uncalled for..

The whole movie was kinda DARK. VERY DARK. That's what I liked about it. Human characteristics, no real power cept for the blue freak with the dick, but I liked the realism to the movie. Not so realistic, but no super powers, they just happened to be good at fighting or are mentally unbalanced.
I still think it was a great movie, had just one problem with it, but I think we may be ruining it for people that haven't seen it yet. But then again, if you REALLY wanted to see it you would have already . . . . . .

Granted the others had no "super" powers. But the fighting ability was not realistic.

The fact that someone used an areosol can 'flamethrower' effectively...was very unrealistic.

The book was better.

I wasn't impressed by the movie. Glad I saw the matinee and only paid $5 to see it. I thought it was so-so.
