This was our second trip out to Infinity Ward's studios to work on a guide. The first time was of course for COD4. We were again treated like part of the team while we were out there and everyone remembered us from our last trip. These guys are super cool and at the top of their field in all respects. Anything we needed we were provided with. Producers Mark Rubin and Pete Blumel were totally accessible to us at all times and a huge help the whole week. Thanks guys!

Brady Games sent myself and 4 other Sea Snipers out to California to work on the project, the crew was [SS]Rator, [SS]SportoFu, [SS]Grifter, [SS]Midnight and [SS]Wally. They took care of our airfare, hotel, transportation and food/expenses. It's really just awesome being able to work with Brady Games on these projects. So the first day we all met up and headed to the hotel which was super nice, then headed out to grab something to eat for dinner. Monday we were down to business. We got to play the game for most of the day while the Infinity Ward guys watched. We didn't get much work done that day but got ourselves settled and devised a timeline based on what we experienced playing that day.

Tuesday was hardcore. We divided up the work between us and started on the guide. It's a lot of researching and testing, mapping and organizing. We usually did between 10-14 hour days there and I was getting a handful of maps done each day. I have to walk each map from end to end covering every nook and cranny mapping out all windows, upper and lower levels, everything. It is very time consuming. The guys were busting their asses while i powered through the maps. Just as we were getting into a groove, Rainn Wilson from the Office showed up and jumped in to play with the SS. It was awesome, he was cracking us up and we just couldn't work while he was there so we just played for an hour or so. He's not that bad and had a great time playing with us. He was kind enough to let us get a pic with him too. Great guy. We worked pretty late and didn't get out of there until about 9pm or so. We headed to the McDonalds cause it was on our way home from the studio. We actually walked from our hotel to the studio each day since it was only about a half mile. So we all order our grub and Grifter gets up to bat. We see him kinda lean over to look at something on the counter, then BAM! He went stiff and fell straight backwards onto the floor. Passed out cold and banged his head so hard on the tile floor, it sounded like a bowling ball. We run over to him to see if hes ok, I lifted up his head off the ground and slapped him a few times to wake him up. He finally came to and i pulled my hand away, covered in blood. OMG! Had to take him to the emergency room where they glued him back together. We rode in the ambulance and met him there. I work my boys HARD! He's fine and was back working the next day. Felt a little dizzy and had to get some more scans that day but he's fine and has a nice lightning bolt scar!

Work continued the next day and we started feeling the pressure of getting all of our work done before we had to leave. Infinity Ward is always very generous. They invited us to lunch every day which was just awesome, we got to play in the arcade if we wanted to, free drinks and snacks all day, whatever we needed we got it. It's really hard to explain what it's like being a part of the IW team for a week. This time it was like we were old friends. The atmosphere is so great there, they all ride scooters around the office and play multiplayer at the end of the day for fun.

So we were able to stay until about midnight on thursday i think because we really needed the extra time. It seriously came down to the wire on friday and we barely got our work done. Its a mad rush to get what we need for the guide because we don't have access to the game once we leave IW. So we got all of our stuff and packed this guide full of some awesome stuff. The Limited Edition guide is what you're going to want. We illustrated all of the multiplayer maps, co-op maps and single player maps and wrote the entire multiplayer section. We had a lot of fun out there and can't wait until MW3! Thanks to all the Sea Snipers that helped out on this guide, you guys rocked out for us and just goes to show that it's really a team effort to deliver the content that we do for these guides. Thanks again to Brady Games for the incredible opportunity, Infinity Ward for their gracious hospitality, and the hospital for fixing Grifter up!

See you all on MW2!
